Course Objectives:
Students will learn the following skills:
- Patient handling and lifting techniques;
- Use of Spine board and basket stretchers;
- Spinal immobilization techniques;
- Patient Assessment and treatment during transport;
- Critical Interventions: Airway management, respiratory emergencies, oxygen therapy;
- Transportation vehicles;
- Aircraft transportation;
- First Aid Regulations.
